Merhaba, ben Ahmet Sungur. Hayatınızda bir anın, bir duygunun ya da bir hikâyenin karelere sığmasına tanık olmanın mutluluğuyla fotoğrafçılık yolculuğumu sizlerle paylaşmak istiyorum.

1984 yılında Bursa’da dünyaya geldim. Çocukluk ve gençlik yıllarım bu güzel şehirde, hayallerimin ilk tohumlarını attığım yollarda geçti. Lise ve üniversite yıllarımda matbaa bölümünde eğitim aldım. Mezuniyetimin ardından, yaratıcılığın öne çıktığı reklam sektörüne adım attım. O dönemlerde yaptığım işi büyük bir tutkuyla yürütüyordum. Ancak bir an geldi ki, hayatımı değiştirecek bir tutku ile tanıştım: Fotoğrafçılık.
Fotoğrafla tanışmanın hikâyesi lise yıllarıma dayanıyor. Okulumuzun karanlık odasında, filmden fotoğraf kağıdına baskı almanın ve o baskının banyo sırasında görüntünün yavaş yavaş ortaya çıkışını izlemenin bende yarattığı heyecanı tarif etmek zor. O karanlık odada kullandığım agrandizör ve kontakt kopya cihazları, o günlerden aklımda kalan en sevdiğim anılarımdan oldu.
Farklı alanlarda çeşitli iş tecrübeleri edinmeme rağmen, hayallerim her zaman fotoğrafçılık üzerineydi. Bu tutkum beni Eskişehir’de üniversite eğitimi almaya yönlendirdi. Üniversite yıllarım boyunca tatillerde, bir reklam ajansı olan Welma Reklam Bahçesinde Junior’lık yaparak çalışma hayatını deneyimledim. O ajanstaki Casio marka 3,3 megapiksel’lik bir dijital kompakt fotoğraf makinesiyle çalışmak benim için büyük bir keyifti. Ayarlarla oynayarak farklı kareler yakalama çabası benim küçük ama etkileyici adımlardı.
Bir gün, ajans sahibim bana büyük bir sürpriz yaptı ve bir bilgisayar almak için çıktığı alışverişten, ilk DSLR fotoğraf makinem olan Olympus E-300 ile döndü. Bu makineyle tanışmak hayatımın akışını tamamen değiştirdi. Fotoğrafçılık tutkum giderek derinleşti ve kendimi bu alanda geliştirmek için çeşitli eğitimlere katılmaya başladım.
2005 yılında BUFSAD (Bursa Fotoğraf Sanatı Derneği) ile tanıştım. Temel fotoğraf seminerine katıldım ve sadece fotoğraf çekmenin değil, aynı zamanda fotoğrafa dair bilgileri paylaşmanın da büyük bir tutku olduğunu fark ettim. BUFSAD bünyesinde hem teorik seminerler verdim hem de uygulama çalışmaları yürüttüm. Faruk Saraç Tasarım Meslek Yüksekokulu’nda öğretim görevlisi olarak görev aldım. Aynı zamanda sekiz yıl boyunca BUFSAD yönetim kurulu üyeliği yaptım ve Fujifilm Türkiye bünyesinde eğitim ve etkinlik koordinatörlüğü görevini yürüttüm.
Bugün fotoğrafçılık, sadece bir tutku değil, hayatımın temel dayanağı haline geldi. Hayatımı bu sanattan kazanıyorum ve kendimi bu alanda sürekli geliştirerek yeni projeler oluşturuyorum. Fotoğraf grupları kurdum, yaratıcı projeler tasarladım ve bu güzel yolculuğuma hala devam ediyorum. Şu anda Vizör Grup Bursa ile çalışmalarımı sürdürürken profesyonel iş hayatımda reklam fotoğrafları çekmeye devam ediyorum.

Hello, I am Ahmet Sungur. I would like to share my photography journey with you with the happiness of witnessing a moment, an emotion or a story in your life.

I was born in 1984 in Bursa. My childhood and youth years were spent in this beautiful city, on the roads where I sowed the first seeds of my dreams. During my high school and university years, I studied in the printing department. After graduation, I stepped into the advertising industry, where creativity stands out. At that time, I was carrying out my work with great passion. However, there came a moment when I met a passion that would change my life: Photography.

The story of meeting photography dates back to my high school years. It is hard to describe the excitement of printing from film to photographic paper in the darkroom of our school and watching the image slowly emerge during the developing process. The aggrandiser and contact copy devices I used in that darkroom are among my favourite memories from those days.

Although I had various work experiences in different fields, my dreams were always about photography. This passion led me to study at university in Eskişehir. During my university years, during the holidays, I experienced working life as a Junior at Welma Advertising Garden, an advertising agency. It was a great pleasure for me to work with a Casio brand 3.3 megapixel digital compact camera in that agency. My efforts to capture different frames by playing with the settings were small but impressive steps.

One day, my agency owner gave me a big surprise and returned from shopping for a computer with my first DSLR camera, an Olympus E-300. Meeting this camera completely changed the course of my life. My passion for photography deepened and I started to attend various trainings to improve myself in this field.

In 2005, I met BUFSAD (Bursa Photographic Art Association). I attended the basic photography seminar and realised that not only taking photos but also sharing information about photography is a great passion. I gave theoretical seminars and carried out practical work within BUFSAD. I worked as a lecturer at Faruk Saraç Vocational School of Design, I was also a member of the board of directors of BUFSAD for eight years and I worked as a training and event coordinator at Fujifilm Turkey.

Today, photography has become not only a passion but also the mainstay of my life. I earn my living from this art and I constantly improve myself in this field and create new projects. I established photography groups, designed creative projects and I still continue this beautiful journey. Currently, I continue to work with Vizör Grup Bursa and I continue to take advertisement photographs in my professional business life.
